Levante beach in Benidorm is easily the most popular beach in Benidorm to visit during the warm summer months. surrounding the city, it\u2019s one of the best things to do in Benidorm if you fancy a day at the beach, all without any stress of searching for amenities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
You see, it\u2019s a totally fun beach to visit and well worth renting a lounger and umbrella for the day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Best of all, it has heaps of restaurants, bars, and caf\u00e9s that line the promenade.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Once here, you can choose to ride pedal boats, and jet skis or just relax on the sandy beach under the sun.<\/p>\n
One thing to note; it can get busy in the summer months. If that\u2019s not your thing, head to one of the smaller coves or beaches like Rac\u00f3 del Conill.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the best place to go hiking, or just walk and get an amazing view of spectacular landscapes. For great views, start at this trailhead from Camino del Faro towards Albir Lighthouse.<\/p>\n

Whenever you visit Benidorm you must not miss visiting the Mediterranean Balcony. Truth be told, it will be hard to miss and it\u2019s a really popular spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This area divides the two beaches, of Platgeta del Mal Pas and Platja de Llevant, and offers wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n
Honestly, the colours of the deep blue sea are beautiful and you can enjoy the amazing weather there. Well, on a gorgeous sunny day, at least.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also, you might be lucky and spot some of the live musicians performing on the Mediterranean balcony. It\u2019s a pretty lovely experience, especially at sunrise or sunset.<\/p>\n
Though, I\u2019m never up for sunrise!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best visited for the views, the Cross of Benidorm is well worth visiting if you want to explore the wider area.<\/p>\n
You see, from here you\u2019ll be able to take in the views for miles down the coast.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As it goes, the cross was constructed in the 1950s for the protection of the town. Which seems to have done its job?<\/p>\n
Best of all, you can go to the top of the hill by car, bike or on your own two feet. Though, the latter will be a little tough in the heat of summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The views from the Cross of Benidorm are splendid.<\/p>\n
5.) Guadalest or Mountain village of Guadalest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
Guadalest is a small town sitting on top of a mountain that you have to visit when in Benidorm. Around 30 minutes in the car, it\u2019s a perfect day trip to explore a historic Spanish town that\u2019s just so quaint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Once here, you can explore its famous San Jose Castle and other museums. This place gives incredible views from the top, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Oh, and for some lovely views, head to the Lookout at the Walls. You\u2019ll see right across the lake.\u00a0<\/p>\n
6.) Altea<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
Hands down, Altea is one of the most attractive and delightful towns in Spain and is easily reached from Benidorm. After all, it\u2019s only 15 minutes away.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This old town has beautiful white buildings with narrow cobbled streets and stunning beaches (like LP beach). For a tasty bite, head over to \u00danico Restaurant on the seafront. Their alcachofas con jam\u00f3n<\/em> is tasty!\u00a0<\/p>\nAfterwards, have a little wander around Altea and explore the independent shops, coffee spots and the church of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Consuelo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Visiting is one of the best things to do in Benidorm for a little day trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A trip to Benidorm would not be completed unless you visit the Benidorm Old Town. It has quite a different vibe from the promenade and is well worth taking a gander once you\u2019re in Benidorm itself.<\/p>\n
You will have the Old Spanish vibes in the Benidorm Old Town. You can find many ancient and historical places there and eat at good restaurants.<\/p>\n

Looking for a place that has a variety of little craft stores, then Benidorm Old Town is the perfect place for you. It\u2019s got loads of little shops and heaps of eateries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
For good tapas, head down Santo Domingo Street (Tapas Alley) and try some of the restaurants that serve up some yummy pintxos, tapas and paella. Easily, popping into the old town is one of the best things to do in Benidorm when you\u2019re feeling peckish.<\/p>\n
