First founded way back in the 1800s, North Market is locally thought of as one of the best markets in the state. It\u2019s totally amazing! Filled with everything from; freshly Baked pastries, hand-cut flowers and local cheeses make it the perfect place to stop for a stroll and for a yummy lunch.<\/p>\n
Now, North Market isn\u2019t the biggest in the world, but don\u2019t let its sizer put you off. It\u2019s got a heap of stalls that have some yummy cuisines that\u2019ll suit most tastes. Make sure to stop at Black Radish Creamery and Fox\u2019s for their yummy bagels.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Now, one thing to note, North Market can get busy, especially on weekends. If you\u2019re fancying fewer crowds, arrived early morning or just before closing. We love it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of the best things about exploring any city is to stroll through its different neighbourhoods. Colombus is no exception!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Our favourite neighbourhood is German Village, and not just because of the beautiful Schiller Park. You see, in German Village, you will get to wander around the Germanic roots of Colombus which is totally perfect for a few hours\u2019 exploration.<\/p>\n
Once here, you can check out Schmidt\u2019s Restaurant and Sausage Haus for tasty bratwurst, cream puffs and schnitzel. Oh my gosh, the schnitzel is everything.<\/p>\n
Also, if you time your visit well, you\u2019ll also get to experience the German Village Oktoberfest or the Haus and Garden Tour. These events are held annually, so you might want to take this into consideration when you start planning your itinerary or your trip in general.<\/p>\n
Oh, and don\u2019t forget about The Book Loft; it\u2019s a destination in its own right! There are so many rooms, and it can feel overwhelming if you\u2019re looking for something in particular, but it\u2019s totally great.<\/p>\n
3.) Huntington Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
Had enough of strolling the streets? Then head over to one of the biggest sports parks in Columbus called Huntington Park. It\u2019s one of the best spots to watch a game and can hold thousands of people inside.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Home to the Clippers, it\u2019s a totally great place to grab a ticket and make an evening of it. Oh, and don\u2019t forget to pop over to
Wario\u2019s Beef and Pork for their yummy sandwiches. Visiting is one of the best things to do in Columbus when you\u2019re hungry; trust me, you\u2019ll leave stuffed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
4.) Ohio Theatre<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/h3>\n
Look, the Ohio Theater is not just beautiful but it also hosts some of the best events and music events in the state. It\u2019s one of the best things to do in Columbus, for all the different events.\u00a0You\u2019ve got everything from live theatre productions, classic films, ballet performances, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Founded around 100 years ago, Ohio Theatre is one of the most famous structures and places in Columbus. Trust me, it\u2019s beautiful.<\/p>\n
5.) Columbus Museum of Art<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
If you love museums or galleries, then you\u2019ll totally love the Columbus Museum of Art. It\u2019s one of the most visited places and one of the best things to do in Columbus, especially if you love art.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Featuring permanent exhibitions and art pieces, collections and exhibits, it\u2019s a space where you can spend hours exploring.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Visiting with the family? Head over to the Wonder Room which is totally fun for kids and has oodles of interactive exhibits that make for a totally fun day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Afterwards, Pop into the caf\u00e9 near the museum called Schokko Art Caf\u00e9 which you can visit for a small bite. It\u2019s well worth it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, the Wexner Center for the Arts is a public gallery that has a goal to fuel creative expression that\u2019s totally great to see.<\/p>\n
Inside, it offers unique experiences regardless of the art form and is totally fun to see. Not only that, the Wexner Center for the Arts serves as a venue for visitors to embrace films, exhibitions, art and events that make it totally lovely for an hour\u2019s visit. They also have a pretty cool artist residency program which houses heaps of exhibits to see.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Oh, and don\u2019t forget that on Thursday, after 4 in the afternoon, visits are totally free.<\/p>\n
7.) Easton Town Center<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/h3>\n
Love a good shopping spree? Well, you\u2019ll want to get yourself over to Easton Town Center. It\u2019s one of the best things to do in Columbus if you want to shop the day away.\u00a0<\/p>\n
From popular brands and local stories, Easton Town Center features them all. Best of all, it is an open-air shopping district where you can check out a lot of restaurants and sit outside on a nice sunny day.<\/p>\n
Although it\u2019s outside of the city centre, it\u2019s really easy to visit by cab or with a rental car. Plus, nearby, you\u2019ve got Blendon Woods Metro Park that\u2019s totally lovely for a stroll.<\/p>\n
